Preliminary Matters: The Obion County Board of Education will meet in regular session August 9, 2010 at South Fulton Middle/HighSchool at 7:00 p.m. Prior to the meeting, the school will provide a meal beginning at 6:00 p.m. Student recognition will honor the South Fulton High School girls' softball team for their outstanding performance during the 2010 year, which concluded with a third place State finish. Items of Note: Please let Linda Carney know if you are interested in attending TSBA's Fall District Meeting. This year's meeting will be held at the South Carroll County Special School District in Clarksburg. School will not be in session on August 17, 2010. This is an optional workday for teachers. Consent Agenda (Item VI.): Background Information: The consent agenda consists of the monthly personnel report, the report of substitute teachers, and the monthly financial reports/business activity. In addition, the Report of Assignment of Board-Owned Vehicles (as required by Board Policy #3.402) is presented for the Board's information. Staff Recommendation: I recommend approval of all items listed on the consent agenda.
